Create your spaces healthier in just 5 steps

If you thought some time in becoming GREEN, you can put into practice these steps and help a little more to keep the environment.

 1. Use non-toxic and odorless paints, low Voc :

Due to the use of paints and decorative wallpaper, your home is likely to maintain the indoor air highly pollution. This could be danger for your family and for the people who visit you. Typical household paint contains up to 10,000 chemicals, of which 300 are known toxins and 150 have been linked to cancer. We recommend the use of low-VOC and no-VOC paints, which are now widely available and sold by most major paint manufacturers.

2. Avoid the use of carpets or textiles on your floor :

Since these tend to keep contaminants inside of it even though you clean them, we recommend the use of bamboo flooring instead, if you want to give a different look to your space.

 3. Add houseplants:

Create decorative pots for your spaces. Grow indoor plants that are low in maintenance and survive in interiors, such as spider plants or a vine among others that add life to your space.

 4. Use Energy Efficiency curtains:

These allow your space to stay warm when it's cold outside and cool when it's hot outside, allowing you to use less energetic consumer items such as air conditioners, heaters , fans, etc.

5. Incorporate to your daily basis the phrase "LESS IS MORE":

Creating healthier spaces according to the green movement is not just buying eco friendly elements. Instead, it is going with the idea of ??not buying things you don’t need, that way you avoid creating more waste that could affect our environment. One technique is to reduce elements that you use in your home, and if you have some you would like to keep than you should transform it into something useful or donate them to someone who needs them more than you.

With this you can understand that the idea of ??creating a green home starts with the intention to make our world healthier, and the best way is to start with small steps which in long terms could help a lot.
